Taipei Jingwen Private Senior High School Venue Rental Regulations (Revised August 21, 2023)
I. Scope of Rental: Performing Arts Hall, Lecture Hall, General Classrooms, Computer Lab, Aircraft Cabin Classroom, Pet Classroom, Home Economics Classroom, Activity Center, and Basketball/Volleyball Courts, etc.
II. Rental Time:
(a) Weekdays, Saturdays, and Sundays: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
(b) Winter and Summer Vacations: Same as Saturdays and Sundays.
III. Usage Principles: The venue is only for the general public, organizations, and groups to engage in various recreational activities beneficial to physical and mental health, as well as social education and cultural activities. Rental will not be permitted in any of the following circumstances; if already granted, rental will be terminated, and fees will not be refunded:
(a) Violation of national policies or laws.
(b) Violation of public order and good morals.
(c) Business operations.
(d) Safety concerns.
(e) Holding weddings, funerals, or celebratory banquets. (vi) Activities that are inconsistent with the nature of the applied project or where the venue has been transferred to another user.
(vii) Those who infringe upon the rights of others and refuse to heed warnings.
(viii) Those who obstruct official business.
(ix) Those who intentionally damage public property.
(x) Other illegal acts.
If the use is terminated but the user continues to use the venue, relevant units or police agencies may be notified to forcibly remove the user or take legal action to maintain campus safety.
IV. Application Procedure: To apply for venue use, a completed “Venue Use Application Form” should be submitted to the General Affairs Section of the School’s General Affairs Office ten days prior to the scheduled date. Use is permitted only after the principal’s approval and payment of the venue usage fee, security deposit, and other related expenses. V. Requests for Cooperation from Participating Units:
(I) When posting slogans or signs on the borrowed venue, please use hooks, notice boards, or invisible tape. Do not use nails, glue, or double-sided tape for decoration. Do not use tape on painted walls. All materials must be removed and the venue restored to its original condition upon completion of the activity.
(II) Participants in borrowing the venue are responsible for maintaining order inside and outside the venue, ensuring campus safety and environmental hygiene. The venue must be restored to its original condition immediately after use and returned to the school management unit for inspection. Any damage must be repaired and compensated immediately. If the venue is not restored to its original condition in a timely manner, the school may hire workers to clean or repair it. The required costs will be deducted from the pre-collected deposit; any shortfall will be recovered.
(III) Please assign personnel to handle entrance and exit procedures and ensure the safety of participants. VI. Other: When using school grounds, visitors must follow the instructions of the management personnel. Entry may be refused or the visitor asked to leave if any of the following circumstances exist. If necessary, the local police may be requested to assist in the enforcement or handling of the matter:
(i) Clothing inappropriate for the purpose of use.
(ii) Individuals who are intoxicated or mentally unstable.
(iii) Itinerant vendors and those selling goods.
(iv) Individuals involved in group fights or disturbances.
(v) Individuals who damage public property or engage in other illegal activities.
(vi) Individuals who enter classrooms or other school areas that are not open to the public without permission.
(vii) Individuals who post indiscriminately or scribble on walls.
(viii) Individuals who bring livestock, dangerous goods, or prohibited items into the school.
VII. Any matters not covered herein may be supplemented by the relevant management unit based on the actual situation.
VIII. This regulation is implemented after being discussed and approved by the Administrative Meeting and approved by Principal Chen. Amendments to this regulation will follow the same procedure.
Note:
1. Each session is charged based on a 2-hour period. Sessions less than 2 hours will be counted as one full session.
2. Parking (up to 50 vehicles) will incur an additional charge of NT$1000 per session. The school only provides parking and assumes no responsibility for vehicle safekeeping.
3. Please send your own staff for entrance and exit guidance.
4. A multi-purpose classroom is calculated as 1.5 regular classrooms.
Note: 1. The Personnel Office should schedule all administrative staff (excluding directors and group leaders) for venue setup, with staff rotating according to the number of examination rooms needed for each outsourced examination session.
2. Each venue setup staff member is responsible for a maximum of 8 examination rooms.
3. The work fee is calculated based on 4 hours per session. If additional work is required, it will be calculated proportionally based on actual working hours.
